Q: I can’t see everyone in the community. Is there a way for us to connect?
A: Yes, there are two ways:
1. On your router, set the connection settings to UDP and open the port. If a port range is required, set it from 50000 to 65535.
2. Use any VPN that can support UDP protocol. Windscribe and NordVPN are highly recommended.

Q: I already installed the game, but it still needed to update.
A: Before (re)installing, you must extract everything from the .iso installer file and turn off the antivirus.

Q: How can I make an account?
A: Go to [https://id.bandmasterglobal.com/] and fill up the required blanks. After that, you can now log into the game!

Q: I can’t extract the files from the .iso installation file.
A: A special software for disc (DVD) files is required for you to easily extract the files. I would recommend WinRAR or PowerISO for that, no need to subscribe to the full version.

Q: Why is there no multi play?
A: It is under construction. The community was prioritized. If the server gets enough support, probably the multi play will be added soon.

Q: Is there a way to top-up?
A: Yes, go to [https://id.bandmasterglobal.com/account] under Account Settings. Payment options are available and it will be automatically added in game.

Q: Is account sharing and creating multiple accounts allowed?
A: No. To prevent abuse in rankings, we will not tolerate account sharing or multiple accounts.

Q: I can’t play the game due to “d3dx9_35.dll” error. Is there a way to fix?
A: Install DirectX 9.0c. If possible, the latest version.

Q: The launcher didn’t pop up. What to do?
A: Please install the newest version .NET Framework 4.8 it’s worked with .NET 4.0 now

Q: I can’t install .NET Framework 4.8. Is there any way to resolve the issue?

Q: How to know if server is online?
A: We have BandMaster Global Bot on the discord server, if bot is online, the server is online as well.

Q: How to top-up and how much?
A: Login to your account (https://id.bandmasterglobal.com/account) to view the current payment options. The US dollar value is fixed but the conversion may vary depending on your currency.

$3 = 50 cash
$5.7 = 100 cash
$10 = 200 cash
$18 = 500 cash
$34 = 1000 cash
$160 = 5000 cash

Q: I have encountered Error 502 when logging in. Is there a way to fix it?
A: Use VPN or change browser when logging in. Usually happens on your ISP when trying to connect to Cloudflare.

Q: I was about to start the game, but “failed to load neouilib.dll” popped up.
A: Another false claim from an antivirus software. Turn off AV before launching. Make sure that the file is already recovered.

Q: How to set notespeed for rank challenge?
A: type /setnotespeed 1 (for x1) or /setnotespeed 2 (for x2) – NOTE: There are few issues regarding with the in-game command, and we’ll give you an update when it’s fixed.

Q: I earned bux but I don’t see it.
A: There’s a free Refresh Bux ticket in the stores. Use this item to see the additional bux.

Q: If multiplay is not yet available, how do I gain exp and bux?
A: Playing in any community map will give you exp and bux depending on your performance.

Q: I got 0 exp.
A: There is a spam-detection system. When you spam for more than half of the song’s duration, you will not gain exp. Also having a performance of below 85% will unlikely give you exp.

Q: I got Wrong Username/Password popped up when logging in to the game.
A: Click “Play Game” only once. The game sometimes doesn’t read if you click it many times.

Q: Is multiplay available?
A: Multiplay is under construction. We will announce when it’s ready.

Q: BandMaster Global is detected as virus and I’m not able to play?!
A: That detection is just a false claim. To solve that, turn antivirus off or add your BMG folder to antivirus file/folder exclusions list.
